Good as (Gustie) Gold
Throughout the years, BD&E has had some fun and unique projects. A few projects come to mind: Ketchupsaurus for Kraft Heinz, and AMO for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, and the beloved Gus the Lion. Gus is a mascot we designed for longtime client Gustavus Adolphus College.
Recently, we had the opportunity to host Gus back in Pittsburgh. He keeps a very busy social calendar of appearances on campus back in Minnesota—attending sporting events, gracing the stage at graduation, choir performances, and so much more. Being in high demand takes a toll, which is why Gus the Lion, the face of the College, came to BD&E for the full spa treatment: a new coif, a nail trim, a few stitches and an overall refreshed appearance.
While he was being pampered to the nines, he had a fur-filled meet and greet with Bash and Pearl, who couldn’t figure—how does he stand on two paws?
