The splendor of autumn! With all its color, crisp air, new smells and wonderfully whirling, twirling leaves to chase! There’s nothing more exciting than a gust of wind to get them moving. They’re hard to pin down, scattering in every direction, luring me to ignore all commands and play leaf tag instead. The only ones I seem to catch are the ones that stick to my coat. Perhaps Robert Frost said it best. “Nature’s first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold.” Hmmm, was he referencing leaves or retrievers?
