The Neighboorhood Academy Microsite

This Is Rocket Science

For Quinn Meyer, the dream of becoming an aerospace engineer would have been nearly impossible without the support he received from The Neighborhood Academy. Located in the Stanton Heights neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, The Neighborhood Academy is a faith-based college preparatory independent school whose mission is to break the generational cycle of poverty by preparing low-income youth for college and citizenship.

Founded in 2001 and serving students in grades 6 through 12, its vital work depends on funding from corporations, foundations and private donors. The Neighborhood Academy partnered with BD&E in developing a 2020-2021 annual fund campaign microsite GiveTNA.org, which highlights Quinn’s path to becoming a physics major at Washington & Jefferson College today. He plans to attend graduate school for aerospace engineering.

The site, designed and deployed in one month, was built to enable in-house staff to track and report campaign progress, and for audiences to learn more about how this extraordinary institution serves the community.
