A Long Cold Lonely Winter
Seems like a lifetime ago that I was at the dog park. After a long day of work at BD&E, a play date was just what I needed to balance my day, get some exercise, and socialize with my friends. Self-isolation can be a good thing, but like anything else, moderation is key. So, now I keep my mind occupied and healthy by taking long walks around my neighborhood, wag at a friend or two, check out all the smells, get fresh air—and a fresh perspective. At night, I carve out a little time to reflect about the things I am grateful for. A safe and happy home, people who love me, and yes, I even include the cat—occasionally. The sun will soon shine, and in the meantime, we need to take care of ourselves, and each other.
