Paint the Town Red
For those of us in the business of color specification, “red” can be one of a thousand shades. But for BD&E our favorite is pure red—good old PMS 485. Oh, the beauty and depth! Think Heinz ketchup, a vintage red corvette, Marilyn Monroe’s lipstick, and of course—a valentine heart. Pretty impressive work for a simple mix of red and yellow.
February makes me think of red, especially for Valentine’s Day, but also for the very important work of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign. So, take heart in this notable cause and other organizations working for good.
