Canis Major

The phrase “Dog Days of Summer” wasn’t originally so much about hot temperatures as it was about Sirius. No, not XM Radio, but a rising dog star. As confusing as it is…I can relate to the latter. Because for this star dog, a triumph has been made. I can swim! Like a real dog. Sometimes you just need an incentive. For me…it was a stick, my greatest obsession. It was all I needed to conquer the hurdle. I really do feel like a Top Dog…aka Canis Major. Now that I’m racking up accomplishments, the sky’s the limit!
