This year Edinboro University is celebrating its 160th anniversary.
This should be a time for the school to take note of all of its accomplishments, its history, and its tradition of academic excellence. But Edinboro is doing a lot more than just looking back. Like a lot of colleges nationwide, it has recently struggled with a challenging climate, declining admission rates, and negative media attention. In response the school has developed a bold 10-year restructuring plan based around an integrated, comprehensive student experience.
BD&E was proud to work with Edinboro in the development of the “Proud Past, Promising Future” campaign. This comprehensive advertising campaign was designed to celebrate Edinboro’s rich legacy while simultaneously conveying the school’s strong focus on the future. The campaign consisted of outdoor, print, broadcast and digital components strategically targeted at prospective students, alumni and the community at large.
This is only the beginning. Additionally, BD&E has been chosen by the University for a strategic brand review and tactical plan that will be launching this fall. Stay tuned.
