Love Pawsitively
February is all about spreading love, and what better way to do so than to advocate for others? I know I am one of the lucky ones: I was adopted into a safe and caring home; I’m showered with praise and attention every day; AND I hold a very prestigious title at the BD&E office. But there are so many other fellow furry friends out there who are not as fortunate.
Every year, nearly 6.5 million companion animals enter U.S. shelters. Of these animals, almost 1.5 million will be euthanized. Just thinking about this makes my fur stand on end. But you can help! Adopting an animal from a local shelter saves lives, combats overpopulation, and supports a worthy cause. Most importantly, it gives you a built-in best friend!
