Playing fetch seems like a good, basic activity for a dog, but in reality it’s a simple pleasure for both dog and human. No stress or grand expectations, just pure joy that connects the two in a relaxing pastime. I think summer evenings are the best—when the world gives us extra light to be outdoors together.
