An Easter Tail
Spring has officially sprung, and that means Easter is right around the corner! This year, I got to participate in what my human counterparts referred to as an “egg hunt” in preparation for the holiday. (Those colorful little things around the office? Yeah, apparently, they’re not chew toys.)
Luckily, I had an upper paw with my trusty canine sniffing abilities. I uncovered the first hidden egg as soon as I was let off my leash! Top Dog – 1. Everyone else – 0. That’s pretty much how the rest of the hunt went: me, absolutely crushing it. Pearl, on the other hand, took things a bit too literally and confused the activity for an actual hunt. I can’t necessarily blame her; she is a Labrador still learning the ropes around here.
Finally, there were no more eggs left to uncover. I had won—even without opposable thumbs. Now I have to find something to do with all these non-chew toys that doesn’t involve tearing them to shreds.
Happy Easter from Team BD&E!
