To the Rescue
While everyone back in Pittsburgh is preparing for the spooky season, I escaped the chaos and headed to sunny Virginia Beach. What’s on my agenda? Absolutely nothing! Except for long walks with lots of rolling and digging in the sand, of course.
While I’m lucky enough to be lounging by the water (actually going IN the water is my definition of spooky), my fellow friends in neighboring states are still facing the destruction of the recent hurricanes. It makes me sad to think that many animals are still homeless and searching for their owners. Which is why I want to take this time to encourage everyone to check out this organization that has already impacted nearly 7,000 animals through sheltering, food distribution, and other hurricane response efforts.
