Bringing the Virtual Classroom to Life
Over the past year, BD&E’s strategic branding and marketing efforts for PA Distance Learning Charter School have grown lead generation 219%, resulting in a significant increase in inquiries for enrollment applications for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.
The relationship spans over a decade, starting when BD&E created the school’s logo and graphic identity. In 2018, PA Distance retained BD&E to perform a comprehensive assessment of its existing marketing department, systems and procedures. Upon completion of this assignment, BD&E created a strategic marketing plan, including a rebranding effort and a comprehensive advertising campaign. Emerging from this work was a new brandline—Where Teaching Still Matters—created by BD&E to embody the passion and heart that PA Distance teachers uniquely bring to their virtual classrooms. The new messaging not only connects with prospective families, parents and students, it also invokes a collective sentiment among the school’s teachers and administrative staff. Most recently, BD&E completed a comprehensive photography campaign to showcase the PA Distance student experience. BD&E is currently utilizing these creative assets on the PA Distance website, social media and other marketing initiatives to drive engagement, pique student interest, and grow enrollment.
PA Distance Learning Charter School, a public cyber charter school, has been serving Pennsylvania students in grades K-12 for more than 15 years.
